Hi ! my name is SYEDA & my ancestry is from Pakistan.
K2: The Mountain
K2 Mountain
K2 is the second-highest Mountain on Earth (after Mount Everest). K2 is located in the Northern Area of the Pakistani Kashmir region, on the border between Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan.
K2 is a rocky mountain up to 6,000m, beyond which it becomes an ocean of snow.
The traditional route to K2's base camp goes from Skardu, which is linked with Islamabad by a good road. K2 has the second-highest climbing mortality rate after Annapurna. The exact height of the peak is 8,611-meters/28,251 ft.
Capital of Pakistan: Islamabad
Islamabad is 518 meters above sea level
The weather in Islamabad is usually cold, snowy and windy also it’s fogy because of rainy days. The geologic area feature has a control of how people live in that weather and how they have to dress in a curtain way. It makes a difference in the weather of Islamabad because K2 Mountain surrounds it.
